Sažetak
The paper is based on the experience of small entrepreneurs education in Poland and the Czech Republic. This material was developed during the work on Transconver project (pilot project under the Leonardo da Vinci programme). There is also „introduce training products for the public and private sector“ among the project objectives droped. Partners for developing and testing this modul were Free Enterpreneurship Association – Business Support Centre Swidnica as Polish partner and Silesian University, School of Business Administration in Karviná as Czech partner. In the application part of the paper there are presented in detail two courses as followed: 1. Basic course „Starting small business“ 2. Advancet course „Project financing“. The course „Starting small business“ provides basic information essential for entrepreneurs while starting their business. It deals with knowledge of trade licencing act, accountancy, taxes, marketing, communication etc. Successful passing of the course is required for gaining business subvention from employment agency. The second course „Project financing“is involved in problem of project financing as a basic method of business support in the EU. The course also deals with the possibilities of financing of municipality regional development projects. It is designed for entrepreneurs, who want to apply for support from EU programs or implement the project in the frame of international cooperation. Both courses are carried out with partnership of municipal institutions and the lecture was also implemented in program pools of faculty in terms of courses „Establishment of Enterprises and Investing“, „Project Financing“ and „Corporate Communication“.
