Sažetak
Today in Republic of Croatia exist many development agencies. All of them are established with the aim to initiate socio-economical development of different towns, municipalities, and counties. Thus in front of them are placed similar or same visions, aims, as well as activities that they are daily conducting in order to accomplish their aims. Development agencies are registered in different legal form; they have different ownerships establisher and organizational structure. They also have different capacities andpotential, and in front of them are placed different requests. Regardless of all these similarities and differences between agencies, each of them develops their area on their own specific way. But it is clearly that there is not only one perfect way, in which one agency can impact on development of certain area. Development agencies are subjects which provide services, and which dispose with certain limited resources and only in that frame can produce effects. It results with the fact that is impossible to fill the whole expectations of all stakeholders that have some requests for agencies services. On the one side, there are establishers and owners, and on another side, there are citizens, civil society organizations, companies, cooperatives, and other stakeholders. In order to reduce this gap between expected and reached results, this paper provides clear guidelines to improve the quality of organization and management with resources of development agencies, which bring us to the maximization effects of development agency. In this paper are presented results of the research which is conducted through interviews with the all stakeholders who had some request for Regional Development Agency of Pozega Slavonia County in the period of eighteen months. The results of mentioned research indicate that there are some problems significant for each group of the stakeholders. In this paper this problems are identified, analyzed, followed with proposed concrete steps, which as organized reaction, should conduct team of employees of the agencies , in order to avoid these problems
