In their business, banks establish relationships with clients. These relationships can be debtor’s, creditor’s and balanced. The bank’s position is committed in this sense. It’s necessary to maintain sustained economic and financial balance. These balances are closely connected. A long term financial balance cannot be established if there hasn’t already been established an economic balance and vice versa. Establishing the mentioned balance represents the first hypothesis of a safe and successful bank business. In purpose of a more successful bank managing, it’s necessary to determine elements which define the position of the bank as a creditor, their quantification and their influence on the economic and financial position of the bank. This study establishes the bank creditor’s position with the clients. The specific properties of the balance sheet display and the economic aspects are determined. The profit – volume – cost analysis has a special meaning and the importance in bank business. In this study all elements that are crucial for balanced relations in banking are researched.
