Today millions of people in their offices or homes are communicating digitally using universal, internationally accepted standards. The new information revolution is dramatically changing entire industries business structure and the ways they compete. Trying to adapt to the digital business community, enterprises evolved and the new e-business models emerge. Enterprises are moving away from traditional value chains to the value webs. This is rapidly visible in the financial services industry and the new financial distribution networks appearance - Internet banking. Powerful financial institutions in Croatia like Zagrebačka banka are trying to bypass the traditional distribution channels linking their business into vertical financial portals going directly to the business customers and consumers. Doing so, they are trying to become a leading Internet brand in the aggressively competitive financial service industry. This paper will explore the e-business model evolution in the Croatian business community - especially banking industry focusing on the product/market strategy, revenue, cost and assets evolution. Internet banking has becoming a part of the new business landscape in Croatia since the digital business model introduction.
