Sažetak

This article represents a part of results of original investigation about functioning the management in touristic and catering enterprises. Essential conclusions have been emphasized which relate to the levels of management, sexual, old-aged and educational structure of managers, their permanent education, knowledge, ability and skills. Results that had been got have compared to the results of previous settled research about functioning management in some Croatian enterprises. The aim of this work is implication of present state of management and managers in touristic and catering enterprises because of animating of undertaking of some definite activities which will be approached to the world* s trends in management.
