Sažetak
The goal of this study is to critically discuss the prospects of entrepreneurship and the SMEs of Turkey as well as examining it in this globalizing world. Especially, the role and significance of entrepreneurship and the SMEs in Turkey are investigated in comparison with developing and developed countries in terms of their contribution to the economy. Furthermore, in order to survive in this global and competitive world, possible public policies towards entrepreneurship and the SMEs will be pointed out and discussed while considering the characteristics of the Turkish economy. This study is composed of three chapters basically regarding globalization and information age, entrepreneurship and the SMEs in a globalizing world, entrepreneurship and the SMEs of Turkey in a globalizing world.
