Sažetak
Paper discusses different approaches to globalisation and their application to the situation of women in the labour market. Globalisation understood as a wide phenomenon and an attempt to build the world order provides working women with some institutions that might improve their status at work. Different institutional solutions and regulations (international, American, and European) are analysed with regard to their adequateness for the implementation in Poland. Special stress is put on the programmes concentrated on the promotion on women-entrepreneurs.
