In the conditions of the changing markets, fast development and widening of technologies, multiplication and contestants and the obsolescence of products through the night, succesful companies become those who are permanently creating new knowledge and widening it one the whole organisation and fastly incorporate it in new tecnologies and products. The aim of this work was to explore this fact on the example of the insurance company Allianz Zageb d.d. This work certifies the supposition that education - knowledge becomes the only certain source of competitive advantage.
