The financial services industry is experiencing significant changes. Modern financial institutions are global in nature and they would provide the positive function of managing risk and maximizing the value of the firm. The business globalization and the increased use of information technology will continue in the years ahead. Advance technological innovations in the telecommunication and computer field are restructuring the economy of today toward information-based economy. That will certainly led financial institutions participating in the global market to global operations in order to secure their financial market share. Globalization is rapidly increasing the level of the world financial competition and merging in the financial markets resulting in new and larges financial companies. Merging and globalization are associated with increasing market risk management for the trading portfolios requiring close Value at risk methodology implementation.
