Since the solution of transportation problem represent significant item in budget of every household, there are diferent decision models. Three category of factors influence on the solution of that problem: social, personal and economics. We investigated the croatian financial market from purchasing car aspect, from the beginning of earmarked crediting and financial leasing, and, according to that, organizational adjustment of commercial banks. With concrete calculation of all purchasing car costs items (direct and indirect), we demonstrated the importance of such supply for commercial banks, and gave sugestions of organizational changes in order to increase market transparency. Also, we demonstrated the costs of operating cars by items, their share in total annual operating costs, and their comparation according to owning period.
