Sažetak

Deceuninck is one of the three leading manufacturers of PVC systems for windows and doors, façades, indoor and outdoor solutions. Company uses the PVC extrusion technology and patented production of Twinson(R) material. Highly integrated and modern production processes include the production of PVC compound, tooling, the extrusion of gaskets and profiles, foiling and patented Decoroc-color coating. Deceuninck group is active in more than 75 countries, has 35 companies (production and/or warehousing sites) in Europe, North America and Asia, and has 2.821 employees. In 2010, Deceuninck group made a turnover of 558 Million Euro. On Croatian market Deceuninck is present since 2003. Twinson(R) represents new, innovative material made of 50% wood and 50% PVC, and combines the best of both worlds: natural look and warm feeling of wood with easy maintenance and durability of PVC. It is used in outdoor applications, decking, poolside or façade. It is produced in the headquarters of the Deceuninck Group, Hooglede Gits, Belgium. It is patented and bears numbers of certificates as well as the quality seals in Europe and worldwide. In regular analysis of the Croatian market of building products, in early 2007, a niche in supply of WPC (wood-polymer-composite) is recognized. The WPC products, though known worldwide, represented the new product range in Croatia that could offer the alternative to tropical hardwood (teak, Ipê etc). Taking in consideration that Deceuninck group actively produced Twinson(R) and sold it on the markets of West Europe, the situation analysis on Croatian market is conducted with PESTLE model and SWOT analysis, in order to determine current situation on the market.
